On July 13-14 2010 we held the 'Second Workshop of the Hawksbill Turtle in the Eastern Pacific' in Estero Padre Ramos Natural Reserve, Nicaragua.

Principle Objectives of the Workshop:

 

1) Share new information about the species and conservation projects in the eastern Pacific, allowing us to gain further insight into the current status of the population.

 

2) Prioritize research needs and develop strategies for the region-wide coordinated effort at recovering the species in the eastern Pacific.   

 

3) Strengthen the eastern Pacific hawksbill conservation movement and further define objectives and future actions of the ICAPO network.
