Why I like being a member of ICAPO: First, it is satisfying to be part of a group of people/organizations that have common affinities and are interested in sharing their knowledge and experience; which in turn can be replicated and improved to enrich individual projects. Moreover, hawksbill turtles (a particularly threatened species in the Eastern Tropical Pacific) require management/conservation strategies spanning from local to regional, in this regard, efforts like these are easier to perform with a network that has been working together for a while, as is the case with ICAPO.
