Why I like being a member of ICAPO: Because being a part of this network has allowed me to gain new knowledge about sea turtles, meet experts at a regional level and feed my professional growth. It is interesting and productive to stay in touch with many people from different countries working on similar topics, and know that with this work I am helping my organization to recover a marine species that until recently was thought to be extinct in the region .
